Michael ‘Venom’ Page remains undefeated in his combat sports career.
The UK striker, who is best known for his appearances under the Bellator MMA banner, made his professional boxing debut for Hayemaker Promotions (headed by former boxing world heavyweight champion David Haye) against Jonathan Castano (2 wins – 11 losses -1 draw).
In the end, it was a fairly run of the mill showing for Page, who brought with him his usual flashy techniques and tricks to confuse Castano en-route to a third round finish.

While Castano complained bitterly about the stoppage, in truth there was a sense of inevitability. The Spaniard had barely landed a punch on Page, and looked completely bemused and stunned by the Englishman’s abnormal manoeuvres.
Before the fight, reports emerged that — should Page leave the ring unharmed — he would likely be booked at the upcoming Bellator event in Newcastle, UK on December 15.
