With the nature of T.J. Dillashaw’s relationship with former gym Team Alpha Male, is it a surprise that he and Cody Garbrandt were engaged in a physical altercation during filming of The Ultimate Fighter?
It seems that tensions boiled over a couple of times during the latest season of the reality show, as the preview of The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption shows in the clip below.
Dillashaw actually referenced the fact that Garbrandt’s temper was a repeated fixture of filming, saying at a media event in January that “Really, [Garbrandt’s] just gonna make himself look like an ass. He’s looking so hard for a fight. He goes out of his way to be a dick, really. He has to choose which one — either be a nice guy or be a complete jerk. He’s like hot headed. He’s not smart enough to put some sentences together to try to tell you what you’re doing, rather he’ll just try to fight you.”
