It’s something of a hometown affair for Urijah Faber this weekend, as the veteran fighter makes the walk to the Octagon for the very last time in his career in from of the Californian fans who have supported him throughout the entirety of his 13-year professional mixed martial arts career.
Faber faces experienced Brit Brad Pickett on the main card, before a newer generation is showcased in the two main bouts of the evening. In the co-main event, it’s a battle of top prospects between Sage Northcutt and Mickey Gall and in the main event, Paige VanZant (herself a training partner of Faber’s) will face ‘The Karate Hottie’ Michelle Waterson with top contendership in the women’s strawweight division on the line.
