Is that the sound of a hatchet being buried?

Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz combined for what was once arguably the fiercest rivalry that the sport of mixed martial arts had ever seen, over two fights in their respective primes and a third, well, out of them. It was Liddell who won the first two in 2004 and 2006 respectively before they fought again in 2018 on a card promoted by Oscar De La Hoya during which ‘The Iceman’s’ powers had waned considerably, prompting a first-round Ortiz knockout.

Ortiz, as seasoned MMA-watchers will attest, closed out his career in pretty respectable form, winning five of his final six fights to erase a nine-fight run which saw him win just once (against current Bellator heavyweight champ, and former light heavyweight champ Ryan Bader).

But for all of their jawing in and out of the cage, it seem that time heals all wounds as the pair were spotted in each other’s company in Miami at Israel Adesanya’s UFC 287 after-party following his win over Alex Pereira. Check out the footage below, which was originally recorded by Bellator standout Michael ‘Venom’ Page.
