Apparently transporting a UFC title belt from Sydney back to the United States comes with a few challenges.

Sean Strickland, fresh off his underdog win against Israel Adesanya in the UFC 293 headliner on Saturday, has returned to Las Vegas as the latest UFC world champion to represent the Xtreme Couture gym in Sin City — and while he emerged relatively unscathed following five rounds in the cage with Adesanya, his new UFC title didn’t have quite so much luck.

In a video posted to social media, Strickland explains: “Guys, I already broke my belt. But I have a solution.” The newly-crowned world champion can then be seen ripping off a strip of duct tape and applying it to the belt. “Good as new,” he adds.
