SBG Ireland’s Blaine O’Driscoll isn’t the first fighter on the books of SBG Ireland to score a one punch knockout at a Cage Warriors event (as anyone who witnessed Conor McGregor’s last fight for the promotion will attest) but that’s exactly what happened when he faced Darren O’Gorman at Cage Warriors 81 in Dublin, Ireland, on Saturday evening.

In a contest between two of Ireland’s best bantamweight prospects, O’Driscoll and Cork’s O’Gorman traded heavy leather throughout and intense first round.

In the second, though, was when O’Driscoll began to take charge. With John Kavanagh bellowing instructions from cage side, O’Driscoll caught a kick from his opponent before uncorking a vicious counter-left which floored O’Gorman and persuaded the referee to step in.
