Tony Ferguson has had one hell of a career at 155-pounds.

Ferguson, at one point the owner of a 12-fight win streak in the UFC’s shark tank lightweight fold, has more recently suffered a downfall of results, losing eight straight bouts and surpassing former champion BJ Penn for the longest losing streak in divisional history.

But when ‘El Cucuy’ was one, boy, was he on.

One of Ferguson’s victims during his six-year unbeaten run between 2013 and 2019 was Edson Barboza, the venomous Brazilian striking specialist who at that time boasted an impressive 16-3 career record (10-3 UFC).

But in the type of blood-filled war typical of Ferguson’s fights at the time, Barboza couldn’t overcome the American’s attacks and was defeated by second-round Brabo Choke.
