Michael ‘Venom’ Page faces a pivotal showdown in his next outing against the surging contender Sharabutdin Magomedov (better known as Shara Bullet) on February 1. 

MVP entered the UFC as a hot commodity after an extended spell with Bellator which had signposted him as one of the most creative strikers at 170-pounds in the world. The Englishman, 37, dropped his most recent fight by decision to Ireland’s Ian Machado Garry in what was a top contender matchup at welterweight made possible by Page’s debut last March against Kevin Holland — a fight he was awarded on the judges’ scorecards.
