After the glitz and glamour of the T-Mobile Arena last weekend, the UFC is back to the more low-key setting of their Apex facility in Las Vegas for a Saturday fight card headlined by former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos and rising contender Rafael Fiziev.

And it is a go, after both men successfully made weight early Friday in Las Vegas. Dos Anjos hit the non-title limit of 156-pounds when he set foot on the scales, with Fiziev making championship weight of 155-pounds ahead of the top contender matchup.

Dos Anjos comes into the fight on the back of two impressive wins against Renato Moicano and Paul Felder, maintaining his perfect return to lightweight after he dropped four of his last five in the welterweight division — though three of those came against top welterweights Kamaru Usman, Colby Covington and Leon Edwards.

Fiziev, meanwhile, has won five straight at lightweight since he lost his debut fight for the UFC back in April 2019, and was impressive in his spinning wheel kick KO of Brad Riddell last December which improved his record to 11-1.
