Well, it was supposed to be fun — and it was.

At UFC 214, Robbie Lawler and Donald Cerrone met in a three round fight that was hyped up for quite some time. With both men huge fan favourites, the contest was hugely anticipated, and it lived up to the hype.

After Lawler came out of the starting blocks at 100mph, Cerrone was immediately on the back foot, only to return the favour in round 2. In the end, it all came down to round three, which — after a close affair — the judges awarded to Lawler, granting him a unanimous decision victory.
