Peter Queally has two back-to-back finishes.

Tonight at Bellator 258, Queally met rival Patricky Freire where the two went back and forth over the first round, with the two landing decent shots throughout. Then, at the end, when Freire went for a takedown, Queally took an opportunity to land a trio of elbows, the last of which sliced Freire’s forehead open, causing a river of blood.

That brought the doctor in at the end of the round, who ruled the blood couldn’t be stopped flowing, and as such called the contest as a TKO win for Queally. After the contest, Queally showed respect to his rival, but then called for a contest with Patricky’s brother, Patrício Freire, ideally for the world title.

“When people fight the pitbull brothers … You have to bring the fight to them. I did a massive amount of damage, had a mouth full of his blood. This is what I love. I want a fight. A real fight,” Queally said post-fight.

Queally’s performance brought congratulations and appreciation from a pair of SBG stalwarts in Conor McGregor and Artem Lobov.
