The UFC 214 card, which is to be topped by Daniel Cormier’s rematch with Jon Jones for the promotion’s 205-pound title, is heating up.

The promotion has announced that ‘The Korean Zombie’ Chan Sung Jung will face top featherweight contender Ricardo Lamas at the event, which is set to take place inside the Honda Centre in Anaheim, California, on July 29th next. A very interesting bantamweight clash between former champion Renan Barao and rising contender Aljamain Sterling has also been announced for the card.

Jung returned to action in February following a near four-year break from the sport as he completed the mandatory military service in his native South Korea. In his comeback fight, and first contest since his unsuccessful challenge for José Aldo’s featherweight title in 2013, Jung knocked out Dennis Bermudez inside the first round.

In Lamas, though, the Korean faces an upgrade in competition. A former title challenger of his own, Lamas was last seen in the cage last November where he pulled off a submission win over BJJ black belt Charles Oliveira. Prior to that, he has registered wins over Diego Sanchez, Hacran Dias and Dennis Bermudez while dropping bouts to Max Holloway and Chad Mendes.

In addition to the Lamas vs. Zombie bout, the UFC have also revealed that Serra-Longo product Aljamain Sterling will face former bantamweight champion Renan Barao, as the latter moves back down to 135-pounds following an unsuccessful stint at 145.

UFC 214 also features bouts betweeen Doo Ho Choi and Andre Fili, Josh Burkman vs. Drew Dober and more.
