Tonight at UFC Wichita, former heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos continued his rejuvenation as he searches for another shot at UFC gold.
Dos Santos met fellow big man Derrick Lewis in the main event of the evening, and took just two rounds to flaunt his famous hand power, finishing Lewis with a combination of punches to earn his second TKO victory in three fights.
The win also puts Dos Santos firmly back amongst the heavyweight division’s elite, with a potential fight against Francis Ngannou seeming perfect to establish the weight classes next number one contender (although likely behind either Brock Lesnar or Stipe Miocic).
