Jon Jones goes off on Colby Covington: “The way lies can just roll off your tongue is honestly impressive. You’re disgusting.”

Jon Jones would really like to see his old college roommate shut up. Or be shut up.

There was a time when Jon Jones and Colby Covington shared a bedroom at college and could call each other friends. That time is well and truly over.

As Covington has found his feet as a trash talker over the past few months, he’s often referred to that period of living with Jones, grabbing himself headlines by accusing the light heavyweight of taking steroids and other drugs during their time rooming together.

Unsurprisingly, Jones — who currently sits on the sidelines awaiting a USADA verdict for a drugs test failure — doesn’t appreciate it. As Covington heads into an interim title fight tomorrow in Chicago, Illinois, Jones took to his social media to offer his support to Covington opponent Rafael Dos Anjos, and also label Covington as a liar.
