It’s not exactly been the best week in Jarrell Miller’s life.
On Monday morning, “Big Baby” was gearing up to face Anthony Joshua for boxing heavyweight titles on June 1 in Madison Square Garden. Then, on Wednesday, it emerged that Miller had failed a random March 20 drug test from VADA for the performance enhancing drug GW1516 (also known as Endurobol). Subsequently, the New York Athletic Commission revoked Miller’s license to box — in spite of his pleas of innocence — and it appeared all but certain Joshua would move on to face a different opponent.
Today, Miller’s public image took an even harder blow.
As reported by ESPN’s Dan Rafael, VADA have now revealed results have shown Miller failed a second drug test for Human Growth Hormone. The second test was carried out, as per Rafael, on a different date to the original violation.
According to Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn, the English star will have his new opponent announced next week.
We have now received news from VADA that Jarrell Miller has now failed a second seperate test for a further substance. AJ’s June 1 opponent will be announced next week – if you don’t think you can beat him clean then delete my number!
