Israel Adesanya and Jon Jones have made it perfectly clear over the past year that they don’t have much time for each other.
The pair have gone back and forth repeatedly in recent months, with both lobbying insults and criticisms at the other’s performance. So that’s why, when earlier today Jones was arrested in Albuquerque for aggravated DWI and negligent use of a firearm, Adesanya’s social media was watched awaiting his reaction.
Unsurprisingly, he had some things to say.

Early on Thursday morning, Albuquerque officers responded to a call about a gunshot. They found Jones in his vehicle in the area, who denied knowledge of the shots. He then was given a sobriety test, before a breathalyser showed him to be around double the legal limit.
The police found a handgun under the driver’s seat and a half-empty bottle of El Recuerdo (mezcal owned by Jorge Masvidal) behind the passenger seat. Jones was then charged with aggravated DWI, negligent use of a firearm and possession of an open container.
