Ian Machado Garry has shot back Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson after the former UFC champion’s recent comments about the undefeated Irish welterweight.

Jackson, a legendary figure within mixed martial arts circles, recently appeared on Ariel Helwani’s The MMA Hour and referenced media speculation circulating in the dark corners of social media last year regarding Garry’s personal life — basically, all of which has been proven to be untrue. In his comments, though, Jackson referred to Garry as a “cuck” and suggested that he had turned down an invite to his own podcast because he was concerned of being the butt of jokes.

In a video message posted to social media, Garry offered his riposte.

“Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson went on last night and spoke about how I turned down his podcast, because I was afraid of being made fun of,” Garry said on social media, as noted by MMA Fighting. “I’ve got the c*nt on Monday of fight week. I’ve got him in like four days — I’m on his podcast, and he goes on, and calls me a cuck. ‘Ian the cuck’ — he didn’t even know my name, and he’s like asking Ariel, ‘Does his wife really have a boyfriend?’ No, you thick c*nt.

“No, because you’re believing absolute bollocks and lies from other people. Imagine running a podcast and not knowing who your next guest was. Imagine being that f*cking stupid, and then going on Ariel and speaking about it. Well, I can tell you one thing: You’re definitely not having me on now, because you’re a f*cking idiot chatting mad sh*t. Good luck, take care, I wish you nothing but f*cking f*ck all.”

Soon afterwards, a contrite Jackson took to social to media to offer an apology to the Irishman.

“I do feel bad, because he doesn’t know me, he never met me 00he probably didn’t even see my fights,” Jackson said in part. “He doesn’t know my personality, doesn’t know that I’m just joking. But it’s all love, y’all. I love all y’all. Mad respect that gets out there and fights. I’ve got respect and love for everybody.”
