Ten years after his star-marking performance against Diego Brandao, Conor McGregor is set to return to Dublin’s 3Arena.

And while he won’t be donning the 40z gloves this time around, McGregor’s appearance in the Irish capital will come on Monday, June 3 when he takes to the stage in a keenly-anticipated press conference in Dublin’s docklands, just weeks out from his UFC return fight against Michael Chandler.

The event, which is to be attended by both Dana White and Chandler in addition to McGregor, is a free event — but tickets must be reserved on ticketmaster.ie. The will be available on a first come, first served basis from 10am (Irish time) on Wednesday, May 29.

It will be the first UFC press conference to take place in Dublin featuring McGregor since a similar event ahead of his UFC 194 title fight with former featherweight champion Jose Aldo. On that occasion, McGregor was responsible for one of the most memorable press conference moments in UFC history, when he seized then-champ Aldo’s belt and held it aloft in front of his countrymen.

And it is a good bet that there will be similarly memorable moments this time around.
