Darren Till may have found a dance partner for the UFC’s return to the English capital on March 16.

Jorge Masvidal issued a challenge on social media to the English former welterweight title challenger in which the former backyard brawler said that he would be more than happy to travel to Till’s territory for a what would likely be the main event of the UFC’s upcoming event in London’s O2 in two months time.

“I hear you having the same probs I am trying to find someone to fight you in your backyard,” Masvidal wrote on Twitter. “I love fighting in other peoples backyards. I’m game if UFC can make it happen.”

In response, Till posted a short video of US actor Jonah Hill indicating his interest in the potential bout.

Till is looking for a bout to re-establish his title credentials at 170-pounds after a one-sided defeat at the hands of champion Tyron Woodley last September and it is thought that the London card is the ideal stage with which to do so, as well as to nail down the Liverpool native’s status as the premiere English fighter in the sport today.

Masvidal, meanwhile, has been out of action since a November 2017 decision loss to Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson. He was linked with a bout with Nick Diaz, who hasn’t competed for four years, but this appears to have fallen away.

With just 8 weeks until the card begins, just two bouts are linked to the card. A light heavyweight clash between Volkan Oezdemir and Dominick Reyes is expected to serve as the co-main event, while Gokhan Saki and Saparbek Safarov are set to meet in another contest at 205-pounds.
