UFC boss Dana White says that news regarding Conor McGregor’s immediate future will be released shortly.

McGregor, the organisation’s first-ever simultaneous two-division champion, was expected to return to the Octagon to headline June’s UFC 303 event in Las Vegas. However, the Irishman was removed from the bout with Michael Chandler on the advice of physicians after sustaining an injury just weeks out from the proposed fight.

Since then, fight fans — and indeed McGregor himself — have called for clarity. And according to White, that will be forthcoming.

Speaking during an Instagram Live video filmed inside the ‘War Room’ in UFC HQ in Las Vegas, White said that news relevant to McGregor, as well as a host of other fighters, is expected soon.

“Talked about Conor today too,” White said in the clip. “Got Conor news coming up, we got [Charles] Oliveira news coming up, we got [Michael] Chandler news coming up, we got Max Holloway news coming up. All that good sh*t. Coming soon.”

Conor McGregor appeared to reference fruitful talks with the UFC by posting a winking emoji to this Twitter account.
