Dana White has said that the UFC is exploring a couple of different options for the headliner to its bumper UFC 300 card in April — but he has promised that the eventual main event will be “crazy.”

With about ten weeks remaining until the card, which is to be held on April 13 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, UFC matchmakers have already revealed several of the fights to take place at the event but the identity of the fighters in the main event is still a mystery. Several possible headline fights have been pitched in the media, including Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler, which looks set to take place in the summer instead, or Dricus du Plessis defending his middleweight crown against Khamzat Chimaev.

But when the main event is finally revealed, Dana White says that fight fans will be blown away.

“I just gave you guys a 300 fight,” White said of the card on Instagram Live, soon after he revealed that the UFC had signed two-time Olympic judo gold medalist Kayla Harrison to fight Holly Holm on the card.

“When will you get the main event? You guys can’t even handle the main event. We’re working on a couple of different options. Trust me, the UFC 300 main event is going to be crazy.

“We have a couple options for the main event. I’m still playing with it, I’m still playing with it. When it’s time, I will give it to you.”

White’s latest comments regarding UFC 300 are sure to draw more speculation as to who exactly the promotion is targeting for the event’s headline fight — though he has previously ruled out that some of the UFC’s most famous names from yesteryear, principally Brock Lesnar, Georges St-Pierre or Ronda Rousey will be announced.

So, for now at least, we wait.
