Bobby Green has warned Paddy Pimblett not to pursue a fight with him.
Green, who defeated fellow veteran Jim Miller at last weekend’s UFC 300 event in Las Vegas, has been name-checked as a potential opponent for Pimblett after the Liverpudlian called him out following his December decision win against Tony Ferguson — but says that the unbeaten (in the UFC) fighter should be careful what he wishes for.
“[I made the callout] because he called me [out]. He shouldn’t have said my name,” Green said in the UFC 303 post-fight press conference.
“He should have kept it to those other guys. This guy right here will find you. And when I line it up, and I get the sights right, you’re going to pay dearly.”
But as for Pimblett’s exploits in the cage, Green said that he hasn’t seen enough to form a valid opinion.
“I don’t watch his fights, so I don’t really know much about the guy,” he said. “I don’t pay attention to the guy. We never met. He was being a little vagina, he didn’t want to look at me or give me the attention. So I’m going to get your attention sooner or later.”
