A lightweight clash between Paul Felder and Al Iaquinta has been added to the UFC’s trip to Detroit on December 2nd next.
Iaquinta, a product of the Serra-Longo team in New York, comes into the bout owning a 13-3-1 record (8-2 UFC). His last Octagon appearance was an impressive one; a first round knockout of the notoriously durable Diego Sanchez last April. That bout ended an extended layoff for Ragin’ Al, as a contract dispute with the UFC meant that he hadn’t competed since an April 2015 win against Jorge Masvidal.
Felder, meanwhile, has won four of his last five UFC bouts. In his last bout, The Irish Dragon became the first fighter to finish Scotland’s Stevie Ray last July in Glasgow. The sole loss during his recent run was a doctor stoppage defeat to Francisco Trinaldo in Brazil a year ago.
