Artem Lobov and Paulie Malignaggi are meeting in a ring on June 22, and having a scrap, but they won’t be doing it in New Hampshire.

Instead the two men will meet in Tampa, Florida at an undetermined venue. The promotion made their announcement via their website on Thursday afternoon. Lobov then confirmed his part via social media, writing about Malignaggi that “Now he cant shut his mouth, after June 22nd he wont be able to open it!”

The contest between Lobov and Malignaggi has been one of the surprises of 2019. As Lobov made his debut for Bare Knuckle FC last month, defeating Jason Knight in an all out war, his interactions with Malignaggi garnered huge attention in the combat sports world — particularly a media day scuffle in New York the week of Lobov’s bout.

Now, in just over six weeks, the pair will settle the score.
