Former UFC star Nate Diaz says he has accepted a rematch with Jake Paul, after the YouTuber turned boxer was seeking a new opponent to replace Gervonta Davis following the champion boxer’s removal from their scheduled bout due to allegations of domestic violence.

Paul had been scheduled to face Davis on November 14, 2025, but the fight was cancelled after Davis became the subject of allegations including battery, kidnapping and false imprisonment. With the Davis fight off, Paul began searching for a replacement opponent, with Diaz emerging as the frontrunner after his social media post reignited interest in their rivalry.

Diaz and Paul first met in the ring on August 5, 2023, at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, where Paul defeated Diaz by unanimous decision after ten rounds.

In a post to social media this week, Diaz said “Fight accepted,” and “You’re dead.”

The Stockton native most recently returned to the boxing ring in July 2024, earning a majority decision win over Jorge Masvidal in their long-awaited rematch.

Diaz is best known for his long career in the UFC, where he faced some of the sport’s biggest names including Conor McGregor. Paul, meanwhile, has built a professional boxing career since 2020, recording multiple wins against MMA veterans and fellow influencers as he continues to pursue mainstream recognition in the sport.
