AXS, the official ticket seller for the blockbuster October 6 event, reports that tickets for the UFC 229 to be headlined by the world lightweight title fight between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov sold out in just three minutes.
Tickets ranged from €180 to €2,212.
Tickets went on general sale at 6pm (Irish time) on Friday. It is expected that a selection of tickets will appear on re-sale websites over the course of the next few days and weeks.
Three of McGregor’s previous four fights have taken place in Las Vegas, with the other — UFC 205 — in New York City, and an army of Irish fans have been present to witness the occasion, as they have since he made his UFC debut in 2013.
UFC 229 once again takes place in Las Vegas, with the T-Mobile Arena once again the host venue for the leagues of Irish who will attend. This will be McGregor’s third bout in the newly-constructed arena just of the Las Vegas Strip, following massive fights opposite Nate Diaz and Floyd Mayweather.
