Conor McGregor and Oleksandr Usyk, athletes who have held world titles in multiple divisions in their respective codes of combat sports, came face-to-face in London on Saturday night.
The two world champions were in the English capital to attend the blockbuster Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois heavyweight clash inside London’s Wembley Stadium at which Dubois upset the odds to deliver a fifth-round knockout to Joshua, denying the former Olympic gold medallist the chance to become a three-time heavyweight world champion.
At the event, Usyk — who has defeated both men (Joshua x2, Dubois x1) — had an impromptu backstage meeting with McGregor, with the Irishman inviting the Ukrainian heavyweight world champion to Marbella on October 12th to attend the first-ever Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship event to be held of Spanish soil.

“Bare Knuckle, Marbella, October 12th,” McGregor can be heard saying to Usyk. “See you there!”
“Yes, yes, yes,” Usyk says when asked of McGregor by any interview. “Crazy man, look!” Usyk adds before breaking out his very own version of McGregor’s ‘Billionaire Strut.’
Usyk will return to the ring on December 21 where he will once again fight Tyson Fury in a rematch, several months after handing the ‘Gypsy King’ his first-ever defeat in the professional arena.
