Despite being less than three years into his UFC career, Dublin’s Ian Machado Garry has already made quite the impression in the organisation’s welterweight roster.

In his six fights, Garry has scored three finishes in bouts opposite Jordan Williams, Song Kenan and Daniel Rodriguez — with his last fight in the cage, in August against Neil Magny, being about as one-sided as a unanimous judges’ decision can be.

This Saturday night in Anaheim, California, Garry will be in pursuit of his fourth UFC finish when he takes on Geoff Neal in a contest that could move him up a couple of rungs on the 170-pound rankings ladder.
