Deontay Wilder says Tyson Fury owes him a third fight after the American gave Fury two opportunities to beat him. Chances, Wilder says, he didn’t have to give.
Wilder and Fury are currently in both about to enter a legal battle to determine whether the much-discussed rematch clause in their contract is still applicable or if, like Fury’s team says, it has indeed expired.
Either way, despite remaining silent for the better half of a year, Wilder is beginning a campaign for fight number three to take place sometime early next year.
“Don’t worry about me I am Fine, Blessed,” Wilder wrote on his social media to Fury. “The only thing I want from you is for you to honor your agreement and fight me. I gave you 2 shots when I didn’t have to and it changed your life. Now it is time for you to be a man and give me my shot as you agreed to.”
Hey @Tyson_Fury ,
Don’t worry about me I am Fine, Blessed.
The only thing I want from you is for you to honor your agreement and fight me. I gave you 2 shots when I didn’t have to and it changed your life. Now it is time for you to be a man and give me my shot as you agreed to.— Deontay Wilder (@BronzeBomber) November 12, 2020
Fury is currently planning to box on December 5.
