Today at the UFC 235 press conference, UFC president Dana White revealed a scheduled contest for that card — a bout between Holly Holm and Aspen Ladd — has been cancelled.
Unfortunately, that was news to Ladd.
White was asked why it was neither women was in attendance for the press conference, only for the UFC boss to interject that the “fight isn’t happening” and the promotion were looking for new fights for both women.
That in turn led to a tweet from Ladd, who pointed the finger at Holm for the sudden change in her schedule. MMAJunkie first revealed Ladd was unaware of the news prior to White’s comments.
“I signed to fight you @HollyHolm on 12/27/18,” Ladd wrote, “now u back out, I’m ready, let’s go!”
