Tickets for the most anticipated combat sports event of the year go on sale today and here’s how you can get them.

At 6pm today (Irish time), tickets for the August 26th clash between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather sale will go on the market and such is the demand that they are expected to sell out within minutes of being made available. Throughout McGregor’s UFC career to date, legions of his countrymen have purchased tickets to support the Dubliner throughout his journey to becoming the hottest property in mixed martial arts and it is expected that McGregor’s first foray into the boxing world will be no different.

You can get your hands on tickets via Ticketmaster, ranged from €433 for the cheapest all the way to an eye-watering €8,582 for ringside seats and are limited to two per purchase. It is recommended that you register in advance with Ticketmaster and also become a ‘verified fan’ to give you the best chance of being successful.

A word of warning: as with any event of this magnitude it is anticipated that a horde of illegal sellers will attempt to shift fake tickets for the fight, so focus your energies on official sellers unless you want the disappointment of forking out your hard-earned cash only to receive a fake ticket, or nothing at all.

The T-Mobile Arena, which hosts the fight in just over a month’s time, has a capacity of 20,000 but it is expected that just a fraction of those seats will be made available to the general public, with the others being part of ticket packages and other ancillary deals.
