After losing a close (and some would say contentious) decision to Norman Parke in the main event of BAMMA 28 in Belfast, Paul Redmond has drawn his next opponent.

The Team Ryano standout and two-fight UFC veteran will square off with Rob ‘C4’ Sinclair at the upcoming BAMMA 30 event in Dublin, it has been announced. A win for either will place them firmly in the BAMMA lightweight title mix for the promotion’s 155-pound which is currently vacant.

Sinclair, who fights out of Predator’s Mixed Martial Arts, holds wins over former UFC fighter Andre Winner and current Bellator featherweight contender Daniel Weichel and will prove to be a stern test for ‘Redser’ who will be looking to get back to winning ways after the disappointment of the Parke fight in Belfast last February.

BAMMA 30 will be the promotion’s first event in Dublin since last December in a co-promoted event with Bellator in which new UFC signee bested Alan Philpott in the main event. Tickets for the July 7th event, which once again takes place in the 3 Arena, go on general sale on April 5th with an exclusive pre-sale available from ‘3’ mobile network customers from today, April 3rd.
