Anderson Silva appears to be saying he’s innocent.

The former UFC middleweight champion and mixed martial arts legend was hit with his second career controversy regarding performance enhancing drugs last week. After UFC’s partner USADA notified ‘The Spider’ that he had failed an out-of-competition test for as yet unknown substance, Silva was pulled from his upcoming main event with Kelvin Gastelum at UFC Shanghai.

On Tuesday, Silva made his first comment on the incident, pledging to continue his fighting career no matter what. He did not directly address the USADA infraction in his post.

Today, however, Silva has updated his statement by posting a message to social media, updating fans and informing them that his team is currently working with the anti-doping agency to find out the reason behind the suspension.

Silva famously failed a drugs test for banned substances following his fight with Nick Diaz in January of 2015. He claimed the drugs got into his system after he used a sexual aid.
