Daniel Cormier will defend his light heavyweight title against Anthony Johnson at UFC 210, he announced earlier on UFC Tonight.

The bout, a rematch of their UFC 187 clash, was supposed to take place at UFC 206 but was scrapped after Cormier was forced to withdraw with injury. While he debated with accepting alternate contests, Johnson instead elected to wait for the title fight to be rebooked.

In their first bout, Cormier came out the winner and new light heavyweight champion, after then-champion Jon Jones had been stripped of the 205-pound title due to his legal issues stemming from outside the sport behaviour.

UFC 210 takes place at KeyBank Center in Buffalo on April 8. Also set to be on the card is a middleweight bout between Chris Weidman vs. Gegard Mousasi.
