British heavyweight boxing veteran Derek Chisora says he wants to take on Francis Ngannou in one of his final career bouts.
Former two-time world title contender Chisora has been a fixture of the heavyweight boxing scene for many years, fighting a who’s-who of opponents throughout his 48-fight career — most recently scoring a comprehensive decision win over the highly-regarded Joe Joyce this past summer.

Now 40, Chisora has outlined that he hopes to call it a day after reaching the milestone of 50 professional fights with a showdown with Otto Wallin set to take place in the UK in February of next year. After that? Well, according to reports he hopes to retire from the sport following a blockbuster bout with Ngannou in April.
The two came face-to-face on Thursday during Manchester United’s Europa League win over Bodo/Glimt — and both seemed to be keeping their cards close to their chest.
Ngannou has outlined his desire to return to the boxing ring following his October 19 return to MMA in which he scored a first-round TKO win over Renan Ferreira as part of the PFL’s ‘Battle of the Giants’ card in Riyadh.
